The story of our Materials Testing Service
The story of ForceProof began with a practical need in 2010. The solutions available in the Finnish market for tensile testing machines and, more broadly, material testing measurement devices were in a challenging state.
Customers had to choose between expensive solutions from large international providers. These providers mainly offered packaged solutions, with a level of service that was often insufficient. There had been one domestic company in Finland, but it had ceased operations, leaving behind a mix of functional and unreliable devices.
The automation technology in use was often outdated, relying on manually built electronics. The software solutions available were feature-rich but unstable, and they did not effectively support the testing workflow.
This is where the ForceProof product family was born. We decided to replace the old electronics with modern PLC-based control solutions. This approach ensures that customers are not solely dependent on us as a service provider—replacement parts are readily available on the open market.
We also designed the testing software from the ground up with a user-centered approach, working closely with customers. Since 2015, we have benefited from a mature software architecture that can accommodate virtually any testing need. ForceProof adapts to your requirements while remaining efficient and stable.
